Privacy notice
How we handle information when you visit PubsOn or get in touch.
Last updated: 25 September 2026
Who is responsible
PubsOn is operated by ONFO LTD, registered in England and Wales, company number 16920128. Our registered office is 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. Contact hello@pubson.com or write to us at that address. ONFO LTD is the controller of the personal information described here. This notice covers the PubsOn information website, including its Vercel-hosted version, and PubsOn enquiries. FiresOn and BeersOn have separate websites and services; check their notices before using them.
Website visits
Our hosting and security provider, Vercel, processes technical information to deliver and protect this website. This may include IP address, requested pages, request times, browser and device details, referring pages and security events. We rely on our legitimate interests in keeping the website available, secure and working correctly. We do not operate a visitor account system, advertising profile or visitor-history database.
Fonts and external services
This website loads fonts from Google Fonts. Your browser sends requests to Google’s font servers, which receive connection information such as your IP address, browser details and the requested resource. We use this service for consistent, readable typography, relying on our legitimate interest in presenting the website. Read Google Fonts’ privacy information. Images are served with the website. Following an external link takes you to a service with its own privacy practices.
When you contact us
If you email us, we receive your email address, name if provided, message and any attachments. We use these to respond and manage the enquiry, based on our legitimate interest in communicating with people who contact us. If you ask us to take steps towards a contract with you personally, processing necessary for those steps may instead be based on that request. We also process information where required by law, such as handling a valid data-rights request. Providing enquiry information is voluntary, but we may be unable to respond without relevant details. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. Clicking an email link opens your email application; it does not submit a website form or subscribe you to marketing.
Who receives information and international processing
Our website hosting and security provider, font provider and email/IT providers process information relevant to their services. Professional advisers or public authorities may receive information where necessary for advice, legal obligations or legal claims. We do not sell personal information. Providers operate internationally, and information may be processed outside the UK, including in the United States. Restricted transfers require an applicable UK adequacy arrangement or appropriate safeguards such as approved contractual clauses with UK transfer provisions. See Vercel’s Data Processing Addendum and the Google Fonts information above. Contact us for details of the arrangements relevant to your information.
How long information is kept
Enquiry records are retained while we respond, resolve follow-up matters and, where necessary, meet legal duties or handle complaints and legal claims. The appropriate period depends on the nature of the enquiry, whether it results in a business relationship, applicable record-keeping duties and relevant time limits for claims. Technical records follow the hosting provider’s log lifecycle; any records needed to investigate a security incident may be retained for that investigation and associated legal obligations. Contact us for details relating to a particular enquiry.
Cookies and automated decisions
With your consent, we use cookieless Vercel Web Analytics to understand page visits and improve the site. It reports page, referral, approximate location and browser/device information. Our legal basis for optional analytics is your consent. We strip query strings and fragments from page URLs before sending events and do not send custom events or email contents. We store your analytics choice in first-party local storage for 180 days. Use Cookie settings in the footer to withdraw consent at any time; this stops future collection without affecting earlier lawful processing. Vercel’s temporary visitor hash is discarded after 24 hours, which is separate from aggregate report retention. Report availability and retention depend on the Vercel plan and provider settings; see Vercel’s reporting and retention information. Vercel processes analytics internationally under the provider arrangements described above. We do not add advertising trackers. Hosting security controls may operate separately. Our Cookie policy explains this in more detail. We do not use website enquiries for automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and, where applicable, a portable copy of your information. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests for reasons relating to your situation. These rights are subject to legal conditions and exceptions. Email hello@pubson.com to exercise a right. We may need information to verify your identity. Requests are normally free, and the usual response deadline is one month; we will explain if a lawful extension applies.
Questions and complaints
Please contact us if you have a privacy concern. You may also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113. We may update this notice when the website or our practices change.
